In live event production, the outcome is only as strong as the people behind it. At CNS, we’re built with individuals with different paths, shared standards, and a clear commitment to doing the work well.
Colby’s path into the industry was not deliberate, but it was defining. What began as a favor for a friend, covering a sound shift at a local music venue, quickly turned into something more meaningful. At the time, it was more engaging than the alternatives, but over the years, it became clear that the work offered something deeper. He found himself drawn to the moment when you can feel people escaping into something they weren’t expecting. After years of circling the industry, he made the decision to fully commit. Today, as President of CNS, his focus is not only on the work itself but on building a team that can consistently create those moments. For him, the strength of CNS lies in its people; the close-knit group that continues to grow, learn, and push each other forward.
Brian’s career reflects a natural progression shaped by experience and relationships. His background spans athletics, music, and lighting design, each phase contributing to how he approaches business development today. Time spent performing and working in production environments built a strong instinct for connection, which now informs how he engages with clients and partners. He approaches his role with a focus on understanding people first, recognizing that strong relationships and trust are the foundations of successful events. At CNS, he values the culture that has been built, one that encourages growth, supports risk-taking, and prioritizes trust across the team. His work is grounded in meeting new people, building lasting partnerships, and contributing to something that continues to evolve.
Lucas brings a technical perspective shaped by both education and hands-on experience. His introduction to production began in high school theatre, followed by formal study in sound design and several years working with another production company. Over time, his focus has centered on translating ideas into tangible systems and taking an abstract vision and building the technical framework required to support it. As Technical Director, he operates at the intersection of design and execution, ensuring that each element of a production works cohesively. The trust placed in him by the team allows him to approach his work with independence and accountability, while still contributing to a larger collaborative effort. He is motivated by projects that challenge the team to grow and by opportunities that require thoughtful, precise solutions.
Ben’s path into live event production reflects a consistent draw toward both music and execution. Beginning with running sound and performing in church environments, he developed an early understanding of live production before expanding into recording and music production. That experience ultimately led him back to live events, where the pace and variability of the work stood out. As Operations Manager, he focuses on the planning and coordination that support each production, ensuring that the many moving parts align before and during the show. He is driven by the process as much as the outcome, finding satisfaction in completing shows and seeing the result of that effort come together in real time. For him, the work is defined by both its challenges and its ability to continually evolve.
Aaron’s role within CNS highlights the importance of preparation behind the scenes. With a background in music production and early experience recording bands, he developed a strong interest in the technical side of the industry before moving into live event support. As Warehouse Manager, he is responsible for the organization, preparation, and movement of equipment that makes each production possible. His work ensures that the onsite team is supported before they ever arrive at a venue. When a show runs smoothly, much of that success can be traced back to the systems and preparation that happen in advance. He values the consistency of that process and the role it plays in supporting the broader team, with a long-term perspective focused on expanding operations and reaching larger stages.
Together, this team represents the foundation of CNS Productions. Each individual brings a distinct background and area of expertise, but they are in sync in how they approach the work. In live event production, success is rarely the result of a single moment. It is built through preparation, collaboration, and the ability to adapt when needed. What defines CNS is not just the scale of the events they produce, but the consistency and care behind how those events are built. At the center of that is a team that understands both the pressure of the work and the importance of doing it well.
